We Know All The Words To All The Songs

I realized recently that there are very few rap songs that I know every single word to. There are only a few rap songs that I know I know all the words to. And they are pretty random. One is "Passin' Me By" by the Pharcyde and the other is "If Only" by Das EFX. I'm moderately confident I could do "Where I'm From" by Digable Planets as well, but I'm not 100% sure. I feel I could rap any of these songs for you with no music or anything. A fourth is definitely "Nuthin' But A G Thang" by Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre. Also I know all the words to "Around The Way Girl" by LL cool J.

Those last two are classics, but the others are just moderately well known. "Passin' Me By" is an enormously underrated rap song. It should be considered one of the best ever. "If Only" is a really obscure Das EFX song off of their first album. "Where I'm From" is also probably not well known, but should be.

I really don't know if I know all the words to any other songs. I mean, I know 90% of "Scenario", but not every word. And countless other rap songs that I know a good percentage of, but not in their entireties. I would bet this is true of most people and most rap songs. This was just a thought that occurred to me recently. Does anyone else feel like that's the general consensus?

Voter Fruad, Anyone?

This dude, Randy Wooten, was running for mayor of Waldenburg, Ark. His town only has 80 people in it. He didn't win. I guess he wasn't surprised with that. What he was surprised at was the fact that the vote counters said he had received zero votes. Zero.

He thought that was strange because he had voted for himself. As had his wife presumably. He says he also spoke with 9 or 10 people who had voted for him. Given that the other two guys had only received 18 votes according to the vote counters, my man Randy may have gotten shafted.

I can almost guarantee that this is going to be blamed on the fact that they were using electronic voting machines rather than paper ballots. Also that's funny because now we can make jokes about how people from Arkansas can't use electronic devices.

Sore F-ing Loser

Dude, this is awesome. I guess someone told Faith Hill she was going to win this award from last night's Country Music Awards, but they lied. The only part of this video worth watching is around the 0:40 mark when they announce the winner. Watch Faith Hill's reaction.

That's fucking priceless.

My Two Favorite Commercials

This Nextel commercial is just funny every single time.

Then for some reason I just love this song.

YouTube is great not because you can find video of almost anything, but you can find video of people copying the most random shit imaginable. Like if you search for the Snickers song on YouTube you get the commercial, but you also get at least 6 or 7 people re-enacting the Snickers song. Why? Who knows? Just because they can. There are also some really involved like 3 minute re-enactments of the Nextel Push It commercial. Some guys were just in their dorms with a camera and a bunch of free time and remade the Nextel commercial. That, to me, is what is great about the internet. I mean, I guess.
