Random Thought of the Day

I'm watching the Yankees play the Blue Jays in Toronto and a question popped into my head.

Are black people in Canada called African-Canadians?

Comments:
A similar thing happened at Cornell when they referred to Nelson Mandela as African-American in the school paper.

I'm Canadian. I think it's officially African-Canadian but oftentimes I see the American one. Most people when self-identifying or talking of friends just say the race- African, or Jamaican, or whatever. Many people still say black. Officially and for political purposes its African-Canadian. I think.
